How do I book the Sage Blossom venue?

To book the venue, you must sign the rental contract. Once signed, your reservation will be confirmed. A 50% deposit is due upon signing, and the remaining balance is due 3 months before your event.

What is included in the rental fee?

The rental fee includes the use of the venue from 10 am the day of the event until midnight, 20 round tables, 12 bistro tables, 2 six-foot tables, 2 eight-foot tables, and 180 chairs. Setup and takedown of tables and chairs are also included in the rental agreement.

Can I change the event date after booking?

If you need to change your event date, Sage Blossom may accommodate you depending on availability. However, certain non-refundable fees may apply if the change occurs within 9 months of the event.

What happens if I cancel my event?
  • Cancellation fees depend on when you cancel:
    • Up to 14 days after the contract is signed 100% of the fee is refundable
  • After the 14-day full refund window, the following amount becomes non-refundable:
    • More than 9 months before the event: 15% of the rental fee.
    • Less than 9 months: 25% of the rental fee.
    • Less than 6 months: 50% of the rental fee.
    • Less than 3 months: No refund.
  • For rescheduling, availability must be confirmed, and additional fees may apply.
Can I bring my own caterer?

Yes, the Sage Blossom allows you the flexibility of using a caterer of your choice. We will provide a list of recommended caterers on our vendor list.

How long can my event be?

All events must end by 11:00 PM in compliance with local sound ordinances. Clean-up must be completed by 12:00 AM.

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Yes, alcohol can be served at your event, but there are a few rules:

  • For events with 50 or more guests, you will need to provide a minimum of one (1) licensed and bonded bartender to serve all alcoholic beverages. For events with 100 or more guests, you will need to provide a minimum of two (2) licensed and bonded bartenders.
  • Alcohol cannot be sold to anyone.
  • Alcohol service must be limited to 6 hours on the day of the event and must cease by 10:30 pm.
  • Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol, and intoxicated individuals may be asked to leave.
  • All Arizona State Laws and Federal Laws must be adhered to at all times.
Are there any restrictions on music?
  • We try to be respectful of our neighbors.
  • Music must end by 11:00 PM.
  • Outdoor music is allowed until 8:30 PM.
  • Music must be played at reasonable volume levels to avoid disturbing the neighborhood.
  • Sage Blossom reserves the right to adjust the volume or stop music if necessary for safety or comfort.
What about decorations?

Decorations are allowed but must be approved in advance. Here are some guidelines:

  • No nails, staples, or adhesive materials that could damage the walls.
  • Flameless candles are allowed, but traditional candles with flames are prohibited.
  • No confetti, glitter, or birdseed inside or outside the venue.
  • You must clean up all decorations after your event.
Is parking available?

Yes, parking is available in the designated gravel areas on the east side of the venue. Accessible parking is also available. No overnight parking is permitted, and parking in the hotel parking lot is prohibited.

Can I bring pets to my event?

No pets are allowed unless they are part of the event (e.g., a service animal or a pet included in a ceremony). Prior approval is required.

Do I need an Event Coordinator?

Yes, Sage Blossom requires that you have an Event Day Coordinator to ensure the event runs smoothly. This does not need to be a paid coordinator but someone who will be available and easy to contact.

What is the "30-Day Meeting"?

A 30-Day Meeting is a planning session with Sage Blossom staff to finalize all event details. This meeting should occur no more than 30 days before your event. After this meeting, any changes will incur additional fees. At the 30-Day Meeting, the Client shall provide a valid credit card to be kept on file. The card will only be charged if there is damage to the Venue’s property, equipment, or furnishings. The Venue will provide written notice and an itemized statement of any charges assessed following the event.

Can I use the venue for additional events (e.g., a rehearsal dinner)?

Rehearsals or additional events require a separate agreement and fee. Please contact us for more details. Clients are allowed a 2-hour walk-through of the venue the week of the event.

Walk-through scheduling is subject to availability and will be scheduled at the time of the 30-day meeting

Are there ADA accommodations?

Yes, the venue is accessible. There are ADA-compliant parking, ramped walkways, and restroom facilities available.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

No smoking is allowed inside any building. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

What happens if something goes wrong during the event?

If any issues arise during your event, our staff will be available to assist. The Sage Blossom reserves the right to ask any unruly guests to leave and may call law enforcement if necessary.

What is the cancellation policy for rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances?

If the event is affected by force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government actions), Sage Blossom will either offer a full refund or allow you to reschedule the event without penalty, depending on availability.

What is the policy on liability and insurance?

The Sage Blossom requires that any third-party vendors (such as caterers or entertainers) carry at least $1,000,000 in liability insurance. The venue itself holds liability insurance but is not responsible for any loss or damage to property or personal injury.

Is there lodging nearby?

Yes! Sage Blossom has an arrangement with Inn History Tombstone, located next to the venue, offering a 20% discount for venue clients (subject to availability).

What should I do if I need to change the setup or furniture arrangement?

Any changes to the setup must be approved by Sage Blossom’s staff. You are responsible for restoring all areas to their original setup at the end of the event.
